Kentshire at Bergdorf Goodman

This luxe boutique is a sure bet for those in search of vintage solitaire engagement rings, with an emphasis on oversized crystalline stones in finely detailed mountings. Rings start at $2,000.

Lev Leviev’s newish storefront stocks dazzling rocks for the well-heeled set (Drew Barrymore and Kristin Davis among them), as well as more reasonably sized stones. Rings start at $20,000.

This London-based jeweler offers a range of sleek, simple styles, and its “charm bar” has an assortment of sterling-silver and 18-karat-gold charms—making the revamped version of a friendship bracelet an excellent bridesmaid gift. Groomsmen can choose from a huge selection of cuff links, too. Rings range from $145 to $2,000.

Little King Ltd.

Little King’s resident gemologist Jennifer O’Sullivan and designer Michael Regan can custom-design any ring in eco-friendly or recycled gold. Current best-sellers include the classic palladium bands for women (from $300) and men (from $500).

Marisa Perry Atelier

This warm husband-and-wife team is reported to offer the best micro-pavé work around—resulting in particularly sparkly, glammed-up rings—and specializes in crafting some of the thinnest diamond eternity bands on the market. Prices upon request.

McTeigue & McClelland

Walter McTeigue and Tim McClelland take over 40 hours to handcraft each ring that comes out of their Berkshires workshop. Their bridal collection, which is carried at Bergdorf Goodman, specializes in durable designs tailored to the stone. Standouts include the Flora engagement rings and 18-karat-gold or platinum mini-sculptures layered with petals (from $5,500).

Me & Ro

Me&Ro’s designers hand-inscribe Tibetan and Sanskrit calligraphy onto many of their creations. Rings range from an intricate 18-karat-gold Indian diamond pavé design ($5,520) to a sweet, simple band of marquise diamonds ($4,505).
