Fifth Ave.; 212-582-5454, ext. 2110; 3westclub.comOpened in 1934, this midtown building has several party spaces that can be rented out to nonmembers: the Grand Salon, outfitted with fireplaces and Austrian-crystal chandeliers; the cocktail-ready Pratt Lounge; the Solarium, with its outdoor terrace; and the Grand Ballroom, which can be accessed via a dramatic marble staircase. From $145 per person; weekend minimums apply.
The Harmonie Club

In-house coordinators will help plan every detail of the event. Wedding packages begin at $200 per person and include open bar and catering. The club offers a formal ceremony room in addition to its chandeliered ballroom suite.
The Midtown Executive Club

Following cocktails in Rumford Hall, up to 100 guests can sit down to a four-course meal by chef Mario Landaverde in the elegant dining room. From $75 per person.
Society of Illustrators

Lexington Ave.; 212-838-2560; societyillustrators.orgThis nineteenth-century Upper East Side carriage house is a hidden gem, showcasing work by illustrators from the past two centuries. Any of its four spaces—including a private library and rooftop terrace—can accommodate up to 120 for a cocktail reception or 70 for a seated dinner. In-house catering is provided by executive chef Quelbyn Sanchez. Prices upon request.
