Martha Clara Vineyards

This sprawling, picturesque vineyard has many venues to choose from. Throw a party in the renovated and fully outfitted barn ($7,000; holds 250), or in an enclosed pavilion with a great view of the vineyard, vaulted wooden ceilings, and a bridal suite ($7,500; holds 150), or hold a tented wedding on the field for parties of up to 500. Prices vary.

Ocean Colony Beach and Tennis Club

For the casual clambake, nothing beats this ski-chalet-style hotel that helps couples coordinate the ultimate informal event: a clambake and bonfire complete with all the fixings. Located on eight lush acres and boasting 400 feet of private beach, the resort also offers a number of well-appointed suites and studio apartments for guests. Prices upon request.

The Old Field Vineyards

The Old Field Vineyards has been owned and farmed by the same family for four generations, and it’s also Long Island’s only vineyard with its own beach. Located in Southold Village, the Old Field Vineyards hosts outdoor weddings from June 15 to September 15 for a maximum of 120 guests. The $6,000 site fee includes electricity and use of the beachfront and lawn. Book early, as the vineyard only hosts five weddings a year.

Nassau County Museum of Art

A neo-Georgian mansion, formal gardens, a pinetum, and a wildflower walk should all be reason enough to host the big day on these 145 rolling acres. Guests can peruse the exhibits throughout the day, or enjoy a stroll past the outdoor sculptures. This venue can seat up to 170 guests; prices start from $5,300.

Nick's Restaurant

Nick’s may not be fancy, but it’s chock full of local charm. Perched on the water, it has a fantastic mix of lowbrow local flavor and high design, and serves terrific seafood. Tables can be set both inside and outside for exceptional party flow. They’re accustomed to hosting private events, so expect a smooth, well-executed affair. Prices upon request.

Palmer Vineyards

This vineyard’s Tasting House is a popular spot for a wedding on the North Fork. With views of 60 acres of vineyards, the covered deck seats up to 110 guests for either the ceremony or reception. They offer personalized wedding wine with a label bearing your names and wedding date. Prices start at $3,500.

Pellegrini Vineyards

The layout of this upscale winery, which features an enclosed interior courtyard and a larger-than-average tasting room, makes it ideal for indoor-outdoor affairs. The space can accommodate up to 150 guests; tenting the courtyard increases the number to 200. Renting the space for a five-hour evening event costs $6,000.

The Ram's Head Inn

The Yankee-traditional inn has an elegant ballroom and dining room, and is surrounded by well-manicured lawns dotted with trees and rhododendrons. Wedding ensembles often perform on the front porch, and the in-house cuisine (Slow-Food-style from the inn’s garden) gets rave reviews. Prices upon request.

Raphael Vineyards

Located about two hours outside of the city, this verdant, Spanish-style vineyard hosts only one event each weekend. The space can accommodate anywhere from 25 to 250 guests, and they work exclusively with one of the area’s premier caterers to create the menu. Prices start at $8,000.

The Soundview Restaurant

Lined on one side with huge windows offering views of the ocean, the restaurant’s Gold Room also features a curved bar, built-in dance floor, and dramatic angled wood ceiling. After the wedding, your guests can stay at the neighboring Soundview Inn, where every room has a view of the water. Prices upon request.

Wolffer Vineyards

When guests drive up to this Tuscan-inspired vineyard, they’ll be dazzled by a huge lawn with a traditional villa and romantic gazebo. The vineyard hosts your dinner (provided by outside caterers) on a stone terrace large enough for 175 guests, and serves its own wine. Weddings and receptions are held May through October; fees range from $12,500 to $20,000.
