Top Five: Wedding-Night Suites
Jung Lee, Fête
1
Gramercy Park Hotel: “It’s a new hotel, beautifully designed with fantastic amenities, and it’s incredibly hot right now. The penthouse has spectacular views of the park, a Stanford White fireplace and mantle, specially programmed iPods and docking stations, and a bathroom that’s stocked with
a ‘best of’ selection from
around the world.”
2 The Four Seasons: “Service, service, service. You can’t beat the views, especially in the suites, and I love the quick-filling hot tubs. The in-house American restaurant 57 is also a great place to meet up for breakfast in the morning.”
3
SoHo House:
“Especially the three ‘Playground’ corner
suites, which have huge windows, separate living
and dining areas, and
extra bathrooms for guests. Every time you order room service, they bring it in
about 60 seconds.”
4
Hotel on Rivington: “Book the penthouse, which is very modern
and clean, and has stunning views of downtown Manhattan. It’s also a great party space
if you’re planning on hosting an after-party.”
5
The Lowell: “I’m torn between this one and
the Hôtel Plaza Athénée,
both of which are so elegant
and feel more residential
than the others. They
also have great terraces
and truly excellent service.”
