The Workout: Two longtime triathletes opened this fitness center on the Upper West Side last fall, offering intense, boot-camp-style classes for athletes and novices alike. The workouts combine cardio sequences like stair climbing with strength training using props such as ropes and sand bags.
The Deal: The studio is offering eight sessions for $200 (normally $36 per class) for first-time participants until Labor Day.

The Workout: You can track your individual progress at this month-long outdoor boot camp, which begins and ends with strength and endurance testing, and includes plenty of heart-pumping sprints. The next session starts on July 5, with classes every Tuesday and Thursday morning at 6:30 a.m.
The Deal: Founder Lacey Stone is offering the month for $175 (normally $300) if you mention this article. Classes max out at twenty people.

David Barton Boot Camp

The Workout:The popular gym is offering a free boot camp in Central Park through the month of August. Expect plenty of squats, sprints, and push-ups at this interval-training-style class offered two times a week (Tuesdays at 6 p.m. and Thursdays at 7 a.m.), and taught by one of the gym’s trainers. The group meets at David Barton’s Upper East Side location before jogging their way into Central Park.

Mushin Martial Arts

The Workout: In addition to training competitive martial arts fighters, Mushin Martial Arts, which opened last year in the West Village, offers a conditioning class that is akin to traditional boot camps (think push-ups, planks, and pull-ups).
The Deal: The studio, which is also known for getting Victoria’s Secret models like Miranda Kerr into shape, is offering an ongoing introductory two-for-one special ($40).

Peace Core

The Workout: Take advantage of the brand-new, extended High Line at former marine Kenny Wong’s outdoor boot camp on the linear park. The sessions are offered at 6 p.m., 7 p.m., and 8 p.m. every night during the week, and include military-style moves like burpees and mountain climbers.
The Deal: Until August 1, Peace Core is offering a package deal of 25 classes for $375 (normally $250 for 10).

Warrior Fitness Boot Camp

The Workout: Two former marines teach this well-received midtown boot camp, which follows a circuit-training structure using obstacle courses and free weights.
The Deal: There are a handful of classes offered daily, and first timers can take advantage of their three-for-one offer ($60).
