Boudoir-style décor and boutique-y glass bottles notwithstanding, most of the city’s fragrance shops are in fact selling you a concoction that trickled down from Big Perfume. But Twisted Lily owners Eric Weiser and Stamatis Birsimijoglou (who co-launched e-tailer Parfum1.com back in 2001) emphasize hand-blended scents: a fresh-coriander-infused perfume from Gowanus-based D.S. & Durga ($89) alongside unisex botanical sprays with names like Branch & Vine from Providence Perfume Co. ($80). Among the more exotic members of what the duo calls their “olfactive family” are Parisian cult classics Montale (from $170) and Maison Francis Kurkdjian (from $175), which can’t be found anywhere else in Brooklyn.
