After getting trashed by hard-core fans while in previews in London, Love Never Dies, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s new sequel to The Phantom of the Opera, received poor reviews from critics. The noxious buzz has caused some theatergoers to wonder if the show will really open, as planned, at the Neil Simon Theater on Broadway this fall.
