Transformers: Dark of the Moon may be Michael Bay’s most Bay-esque popcorn flick to date, but his next project, Pain & Gain, may end up his most anomalous. Pain, which Bay once called “a small little movie,” comparing it to Pulp Fiction, is a long-in-the-works dark comedy based on a Miami New Times story about bodybuilders in the Florida criminal underworld. “I’m going to do it next,” Bay confirmed to MTV on Wednesday.
