Gaslight Anthem front man Brian Fallon has previously discussed his side project, the Horrible Crowes, a duo he formed with Ian Perkins, but now that band has an official debut album (Elsie) and a release date for that album (September 6). By way of explaining the difference between Crowes and his regular gig, Fallon says, “It’s not the kind of thing where you get wasted and listen to some music. It’s more, ‘I’m going to take my lady out and watch a band play and it’s going to be quiet and then we’re going to go home and have a good evening.’” In other words: Brian Fallon wants to be your sex mood music.
