During their reign as Jimmy Fallon house band, the Roots have made a habit of choosing personalized, often-pointed walk-on songs for each guest. Highlights so far have included Beck’s “Loser” for Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt; Joe Jackson’s “Is She Really Going Out With Him?” for JT paramour Jessica Biel; and Maino’s “Hi Hater” for Bill Hader. But last night, the band went amazingly all in. Questlove himself tweeted some words of warning: “aight late night walk-on song devotees: you love it when we snark: this next one takes the cake. ask around cause i aint tweeting title.” The guest in question? GOP presidential gadfly Michele Bachmann. The song? Fishbone’s “Lyin’ Ass Bitch.” Yup! That happened.
