Vulture recently brought you a fascinating article about the highest-rated shows on TV in every conceivable demographic (be it age, race, or income) except one: audiences that are made up solely of people related to the president of the United States. Luckily, Barack Obama has given a new interview to People about that very subject: “For the girls and me, Modern Family, that’s our favorite show,” Obama told the magazine, though when Michelle and his daughters are otherwise occupied, his tastes run to two premium cable shows that he admits are “a little darker”: Boardwalk Empire and Homeland. A politically charged show about a sleeper agent with Islamic sympathies? Now you’re just playin’ with Orly Taitz, Obama.
