Diane Kruger will star in FX’s upcoming cop show The Bridge, about detectives from Texas and Mexico tracking a serial killer on both sides of the border. According to Deadline, Kruger will play Sonya North, an El Paso officer with a brusque style. The show is based on the Swedish and Danish series Broen, so it looks like the appetite for American adaptations of grizzly Nordic crime dramas has not yet been sated.
