In her last Dolce & Gabbana campaign, Madonna played a housewife who did things like laundry, wash dishes, and cry actual tears. This season she plays a character inspired by her icon, Italian actress Anna Magnani. The campaign is supposed to take place in an unspecified city in Italy and “describe the beauty and simple family life of an ordinary woman with her different roles as mother, daughter, granddaughter, cousin, and sister.” The image of her as a “mother” to her 17-year-old “son” Max Schneider already leaked. And today the rest of it is out, such as the above totally ordinary shot of Madonna in totally ordinary see-through bottoms fainting at the sight of housework.
