No reflection on Fashion Week would be complete without taking a look at the makeup. Spring 2011 saw plenty of nude or nearly nude faces, a rosy cheek or white-rimmed eye sometimes being the only pop of color. While the no-makeup makeup look works for some au naturel types (like the gorgeous models in Phillip Lim’s show), we were pleased to see shocking teal lips at Y-3 and hot-pink lids and lips at Yigal Azrouël and Diane Von Furstenberg, respectively.
