Free Fascinators and Pashminas for Anyone Who Breaks the Royal Ascot Dress Code!

According to the Telegraph, 30 dress code assistants will distribute fascinators (note: not allowed in the royal enclosure but permissible in the grandstand), pashminas, and ties to the “inappropriately attired.” A spokesman for the Royal Ascot remarked, “We have absolutely thousands of fascinators. There will be a full range because we know ladies won’t want to wear a pink hat with an outfit that doesn’t suit, for example … [But] they are not designer items and they are not going to win any fashion awards.” It’s the thought that counts.
