Video: The First Presidential Debate in Less Than Three Minutes

Tonight’s first debate between President Obama and Mitt Romney delivered us a handful of overly prepared zingers, the possible firing of Big Bird, and a moderator-turned-human kitchen timer Jim Lehrer. The economy and Obamacare dominated this domestic policy-themed match-up, with Obama admitting more than once that he finds the term for his health care plan rather charming. Romney is being credited for winning this first round, appearing eager to engage while Obama looked somewhat smug, waiting for his turn to speak. Both seemed equally spooked, though, when a strange sound of something falling to the ground came from backstage — is it possible this noise doesn’t have its own Twitter feed yet (like some others we know)? See it all in our quick video roundup right here.
