It’s the end of an era. Magnolia Bakery and its buttery-as-all-hell cupcakes are no longer a part of those obnoxious Sex and the City tours. It was simply an issue of supply and demand, says a spokeswoman with On Location Tours, which organizes the tours. But tourists needn’t worry that they won’t get their sugar fix. Magnolia has been replaced by Billy’s Bakery in Chelsea. [WSJ]
