A study published today by the Pew Hispanic Center found that 8 percent of the 4.3 million babies born in the United States in 2008 had at least one parent who was an illegal immigrant. Another way of looking at this would be to say that Lindsey Graham, John Boehner, and the like would like to repeal the 14th Amendment — sort of like a Post-It note on that Constitution — in order to deny citizenship to 8 percent of the babies born in 2008. Be careful, fellas. Don’t let your poor policy choices piss off babies. Because they are not afraid to not look you in the eye.
