Current TV Sues Keith Olbermann Right Back

In what has officially become a pretty dull, predictable slap-fight, Current TV has filed a countersuit against Keith Olbermann, who was fired from the network last week and who sued for wrongful termination yesterday. Current’s suit repeats their claims that Olbermann missed a lot of work and was generally a horrible person to be around, and adds an anecdote about him dangerously throwing a glass mug on set. Olbermann’s suit, which is 43-pages long and demands between $50 and $70 million for breach of contract, can be read in full here, and contains Olbermann-ian gems like, “Keith Olbermann was disheartened to discover Al Gore, Joel Hyatt, and the management of Current are no more than dilettantes portraying entertainment industry executives.” Upon the response to the host’s response to the network’s response (and so on), Olbermann has taken to Twitter. Let’s save the rest for the judge, shall we, gentlemen?
