Facebook flaunted its engagement with the NASDAQ all over town, but when it came time to actually do the damn thing, the torrid affair cooled off quickly. Just four days into their union, there’s already been bump after bump after bump, and Facebook’s eye is starting to stray as regrets about what it might’ve had nag incessantly. Baby, please, NASDAQ pleads. But the whispers have already begun: Bloomberg reports that Facebook and the New York Stock Exchange are feeling out the possibility of a future together and “have been exchanging phone calls and e-mails.” That’s how it always starts, isn’t it?
