St. John’s Students Haven’t Forgotten About Peter King’s Muslim Hearings

And they aren’t interested in having him as their commencement speaker. Five hundred students at St. John’s University have signed a petition urging the school to take back its invitation because King has made “controversial and overtly racial remarks and his views do not accurately reflect the diversity of our student body.” The petition doesn’t highlight specific remarks from King’s 2011 Muslim “Radicalization” hearings, and recently King has been more focused on harassing Marco Rubio. The university said the congressman was invited due to his efforts to secure aid for Hurricane Sandy victims.
