For the second time in two days, a member of the United States Congress has apologized for his teenage son’s racism/sexism/anti-Semitism/homophobia on Twitter after it was outed on BuzzFeed. Yesterday, it was Senator Jeff Flake; today, it’s Nevada representative Joe Heck, whose 16-year-old son Joey freely deployed “faggot,” “nigga,” “Mexican,” “rape,” and so on, while praising President Obama for his “spear chucking and rock skipping. The sports they do in his home country…” Every lawmaker in the country needs to call a family meeting ASAP.
