Apparently Barbara Walters is aware that the guy behind the biggest leak of classified documents in U.S. history is a bit more interesting than Kimye. While the NSA leaker made 2013’s “Most Fascinating People of the Year” list – which will be the final installment, as Walters is retiring – he ranks somewhere in the bottom nine, along with the Duck Dynasty cast and royal baby Prince George. The Daily News reports Walters wanted Snowden to be number one, but network brass nixed the idea since he couldn’t participate. An ABC rep insisted the decision “is not made based on who we interview.” We’re really hoping that’s true, since it means Walters could still hold something shiny in front of the camera and reveal that we’re all the most fascinating person ever.
