Senator Dianne Feinstein once had an awkward encounter with a drone, she said during a Senate Commerce Committee meeting. The California legislator found the aircraft hovering outside her window during a demonstration. When she looked out the pane, “There was a drone right there at the window looking out at me.” But Feinstein had the last laugh. “Obviously the pilot of the drone had some surprise, because the drone wheeled around and crashed, so I felt a little good about that.”
