White People More Convinced Than Ever That Local Police Aren’t Racist

White people, known largely for their pale complexions and complete disregard of major news events, are more confident than ever that local police treat black and white people equally, according to the Washington Post.

A poll conducted by NBC News and Marist College released on Sunday found that 52 percent of white people have a “great deal” of confidence that local police treat black people and white people equally. That’s a higher percentage than many previous polls that asked the same or a very similar question, dating all the way back to 1995.

Unsurprisingly, the percentage of African-Americans with a “great deal” of confidence in police equality was dramatically lower. Caucacity at its finest.
