The 2 Chainz–Nancy Grace Weed Debate Is As Amazing As It Sounds

If you’ve ever wondered why Nancy Grace’s HLN show still exists, here’s your answer. Tonight the rapper “known as 2 Chainz, also Tauheed Epps, also Tity Boi,” as Grace delightfully put it, appeared on the program for a debate about marijuana. The living TV-anchor parody repeatedly showed clips of a woman trying to make her child smoke weed, but 2 Chainz refused to hysterically “think of the children.” It’s the same thing we talked about earlier, darling, with the legalization of alcohol,” 2 Chainz explained. “You will find some footage like this, but everybody is not doing this. Some people actually love their child. Some people know that it’s obviously wrong, so this is nothing to really argue about; these people are obviously imbeciles. You can’t use this case to define an entire community.”

Along the way, Grace suggested 2 Chainz may be a bad role model, asked why women in his videos are so scantily clad as a butt-shaped cake appeared on-screen, and recited some of his lyrics. “‘Smoking California weed with California whores’ — excuse me, ‘true.’ I left that out,” said Grace. “Truuuue!” 2 Chainz responded.

After promoting the interview by badgering 2 Chainz with the hashtag #Pot2Blame, Grace tried to start a new beef by questioning his accessory choices:

But he seemed fine with the whole thing and, in fact, offered to appear on Bill O’Reilly’s show next. All this proved is that we have #Pot2Blame for making deep cable worth watching.
