The NBA All-Star Game is a month away, and roster selections should be set in a couple of weeks. David Lee — who is playing for a lucrative contract with someone, anyone — continued to make a strong case for himself as an All-Star last night, hitting the game-winning lay-in with thirteen-point-three seconds left to help the Knicks beat the 76ers in Philadelphia. Lee ended up with 24 points before heading to St. Louis for the funeral of his grandfather. In another sign that maybe the Knicks made the right move by not signing Allen Iverson, the Answer passed up a potential game-winning shot in the final seconds, dishing the ball to Rodney Carney, who missed a shot from the corner. The Knicks are in host Toronto tomorrow night, and the playoff odds are at 51.1 percent. Consider yourself updated!
