Someone named Mike Brodeur, a distant relative of Devils goalie Martin, blanked the Rangers 2–0 at the Garden last night just hours after being called up from the AHL. But unlike Tuesday’s exhilarating shoot-out loss to those Devils, this won’t be remembered as a display of hockey as it ought to be played. This one, against the slumping Senators, just serves as a reminder that the Rangers don’t score very many goals.
