The NCAA Tourney Is Back for More Chaos

Okay, three days off was about all you could handle: The NCAA Tournament, in the midst of a possible final doomed run of thrills before the 96-team pencil pushers destroy the whole thing, returns tonight. We’ve got all the local angles in this first day, First, ‘CUUUUUSE plays Butler at 7:07 p.m. The Orange will be without center Arinze Onuaku but are still favored; they’ve been one of the more impressive teams of the tourney so far, but will need to step it up tonight and in a potential Elite Eight game with dangerous Kansas State. Then, late tonight, the big one: big evil one-year-and-done rule-bending Kentucky versus Ivy League darlings Cornell, starting at approximately 9:57. It’s the signature game of the tournament so far, Education versus Soulless Hoops Factor, Hard Work versus Quick Fix, Jacob versus Smokey. Everyone who isn’t already a Kentucky fan will be pulling hard for Cornell, which is probably why Kentucky will win by 30. The other games: West Virginia versus Washington, and Kansas State versus Xavier. Make sure to see who you picked in the pool, and enjoy.
