’Twas a time when watching the first round of the NCAA Tournament meant actually calling in sick to work — or “scheduling your vasectomy,” as the old urban legend went — and standing in front of 24 TVs at the ESPNZone. Back in 2006, Deadspin would run individual live blogs of every game, under the presumption that, shoot, that’s the only way to find out what’s going on. No longer. Now you can sit at your desk and watch every single game and have reporters at the game update you on everything and generally have your whole NCAA experience right there at your desk. (Minus the hard alcohol.) This is great. This is America. Enjoy this day.
