Donovan McNabb Leaving Philly, But Not the NFC East

The Eagles traded quarterback Donovan McNabb to Washington yesterday for two draft picks — a move made possible by Kevin Kolb’s emergence in Philadelphia. It’s the end of an era in Philly, where McNabb played eleven seasons, earning six Pro Bowl selections and leading the Eagles to the NFC title game five times. Unfortunately for the rest of the NFC East, it’s also the likely end of the Jason Campbell era in Washington. As a sidenote, by the way: The Redskins reportedly offered $100 million man Albert Haynesworth as part of the trade. [ESPN]
