The WNBA playoffs can be difficult to follow because the series are so short: One minute you’re up 1-0 and completely in control, and the next minute you’re one loss from the long, cold winter. (Though, to be fair, you are allowed to wear clothes other than your WNBA uniform when the season is over, so you can dress warmer.) Hence the Liberty’s 75-67 loss to the Indiana Fever last night is forcing a decisive Game 3 of the Eastern Conference semifinals Wednesday night at the Garden. Every other semifinal is over; the Atlanta Dream await Wednesday’s winner. For the Liberty to become the third Garden title team in the last 38 years, they must win Wednesday. Plenty of tickets are still available.
