Your U.S. Open Brackets Are Out

We very much enjoy filling out the U.S. Open brackets as they go along — the NCAA tourney’s yearly appearance does not sate our thirsts — and a couple of hours ago, the USTA obliged geometric lust by announcing the full pairings for the tourney, which begins Monday. The men’s bracket, which lacks defending champ Juan Martin Del Potro (who is still rehabbing from surgery on his right wrist in May), has Rafael Nadal as the No. 1 seed, Roger Federer at No. 2, Novak Djokovic at No. 3, and Brit Andy Murray at No. 4. The Serena-less women’s bracket: No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki, No. 2 (and defending champ) Kim Clijsters, No. 3 Venus Williams, and No. 4 Jelena Jankovic. Get your office pools ready. (Okay, U.S. Open pools are really hard.)
