The New York Liberty have put a lot into this particular season: the trade for Cappie Pondexter, the last-season promise from the coach, the promise of an actual title team in town for once. And tonight, at the Garden, if they lose to the Indiana Fever in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference semifinals, their season is over. The game starts at 7:30 at the Garden, and tickets are still available. (It’s also on NBA-TV, if you get that station.) We continue our vow: We will go to a Liberty WNBA Finals game at the Garden, and we will wear Liberty garb and cheer like crazy. We suspect more people would do that than you might think. But the team has to get there first.
