The Stony Brook baseball team had a hell of a run in the NCAA Tournament, emerging from the four-team Coral Gables regional as a No. 4 seed, then ousting LSU on its home turf to advance to the eight-team College World Series. But the Seawolves had a rough weekend in Omaha, losing 9-1 to UCLA on Friday and then 12-2 to Florida State yesterday to end their season. Still, Stony Brook ends its season with a school-record 52 wins — not to mention an unprecedented amount of attention for the baseball program.
