First Look: An Eco-Designer’s Fantasy Office

Fashion designer Stacy Igel’s green obsessions extend from her clothing line Boy Meets Girl to her new office space in the garment district, which is composed completely of cardboard. The office, built by the ingenious paper masters at DesignCycle, includes an entrance wall made of honeycomb cardboard with the Boy Meets Girl logo silhouetted in colored paper. It doubles as a wishing wall, letting Stacy’s guests and co-workers write down messages on pieces of colored paper, roll them up, and stash them away for good luck. (See a video of the office here.)
