Who’s your favorite New Yorker, living or dead, real or fictional?
What’s the best meal you’ve eaten in New York?
There are too many great meals to pick one out. We are so spoiled; everything is great. I recently gave sushi another chance at Japonais, and I loved it. I also had a great filet there. I tried sushi once before, and it was bad. Literally bad. It ruined sushi for me for almost a decade, which is tragic.
In one sentence, what do you actually do all day in your job?
I drive a taxi by day and tell jokes by night.
Where do you get your coffee?
I buy it by the can from Rocco’s on Bleecker and make it at home. By the cup, I love the coffee from Candy Café on Hudson and Leroy.
What’s the last thing you saw on Broadway?
Proof. The play, not the movie.
Do you give money to panhandlers?
If they don’t try to bullshit me. Or if they do and the story is really good.
