$700 Billion Bailout Bill Has Failed in the House, Dow Down 500 Points

The House has defeated the biggest government rescue since the Great Depression, 228–205. After the vote the Dow went down 700 points — it’s now down around 500. CNN just now: “What are they going to do now? Start over?” Apparently, yes.
