Bronx state senator Pedro Espada Jr. — a borough bigwig and a member of the “Gang of Three” that threatened to defect from the Democratic caucus during an Albany tangle with new majority leader Malcolm Smith — doesn’t list contact information on his website. He hasn’t opened a district office yet, and if you send him an e-mail it bounces back. (If you send him a carrier pigeon, it will be shot.) None of this is too surprising, as he’s rarely/never seen in the co-op he uses to establish residency anyway.
