Last night Tom Hanks was honored by the Film Society of Lincoln Center for his prolific career, and when we caught up with him at the gala at Alice Tully Hall, we had to ask him about his secret to success. “Movies are like this,” he said. “If it’s cold, you gotta pretend you’re hot, and if it’s hot, you gotta pretend you’re cold.” We can totally do that!
