Mobilized by an upset e-mail from the shop’s proprietor, patrons of the Community Bookstore on Seventh Avenue in Park Slope “strongly encouraged” a street vendor who’d set up his own table of books directly outside to head elsewhere, because he was threatening the welfare of the shop.
