Poor Sarah Jessica Parker. She’s been through a lot this year — so the news in April that she was expecting twins via a surrogate was welcome. The woman lives in Martins Ferry, Ohio, far away from the prying eyes of paparazzi and crazy fans — or so they thought. Turns out the poor lady, in addition to being burdened with the weight of double celebrity DNA, in two different baby girls (that’s quadruple celebrity power, if you’re counting!), is now being beset by harassing phone calls, threats, and even a criminal plot. Martins Ferry Police Chief Barry Carpenter and nearby Bridgeport Police Chief Chad DoJack apparently attempted to break into the woman’s house to gather information and listen to voice mails from the Sex and the City star. The two cops claim innocence, but other law-enforcement officials claim they have hard evidence that the pair concocted the plan with the help of a tabloid reporter for a magazine exposé. “There’s simply no excuse for doing this to somebody,” SJP has said of the pattern of harassment against the woman. “It’s not acceptable. I am incredibly outraged by the sort of extraordinary and unprecedented invasion of her privacy.”
Of course, she’ll be singing a different tune when she finds out that her son, the 6-year-old James Wilkie, is behind all of this. She should have never let him hang out with Maddox Jolie-Pitt. Once Mad told JW what happens when celebrity parents start bringing other kids into the fold — especially twins — some brotherly shenanigans were inevitable.
