When authorities arrived at the obliterated wreckage of a twin-engine Beechcraft that crashed in a parking lot just short of Teterboro Airport early this morning, they were startled to find the pilot and passenger still alive. George Maddox, 54, who suffered extensive burns, and Sanil Gopinath, 42, who was bruised, were found sitting on a curb, waiting at a nearby bus stop. [NYDN]
