What’s the best meal you’ve eaten in New York?
Random choice of hundreds: Alfredo’s fettuccine. I thought I’d tasted Fettuccine Alfredo at other restaurants, at dinner parties and in homes in Tuscany. Then I had it on 49th Street. Turns out, Alfredo sauce is thick, stretchy and stringy. Probably a lot like the blood in my arteries.

In one sentence, what do you actually do all day in your job?
In the copious downtime on the TV show, I socialize with fellow castmates, guest stars, and crew, and also work long-distance, as a writer, producer, and director on a new Adult Swim show called Frankenhole, premiering in February.

Would you still live here on a $35,000 salary?
If by “here” you mean in the subway, then yes. New York is the best place on earth.

What’s the last thing you saw on Broadway?
A bouffant drag queen leaning on a police car, chewing a Papaya Dog with a french fry stuck on each one of her fingernails.

How often do you prepare your own meals?
Once or twice a week. Otherwise, I have friends in the Village who cook for me. Friends like Joe’s Pizza on Carmine Street.

Which do you prefer, the old Times Square or the new Times Square?
A mix of both. I’d like to see some peep booths installed in the M&M Store.

I think what he does is a lot like what the Naked Cowboy does.

What do you hate most about living in New York?
That I live more than a minute’s walk from Central Park.

Tiny, yappy dogs and anyone who high-fives, even ironically.
