Today Walker said that he wants the trial over the constitutionality of Proposition 8, which bans gay marriage in California, to be taped and distributed on the Internet. It’s a partial victory for those who wanted cameras allowed in the court room but wished for the proceedings to be streamed live. All Walker needs now is for the court’s chief judge to approve his request, which the LA Times says is “expected.” Then you’ll be faced with the difficult decision of catching up with Maru or watching the most pivotal equal rights battle of your lifetime.
