Apolo Ohno Is Now the Greatest U.S. Winter Olympian of All Time

After capturing the bronze medal in the 1000-meter short-track race last night, Apolo Ohno became the winningest U.S. Winter Olympian ever with seven medals, surpassing Bonnie Blair and her six. This was Ohno’s second medal from the Vancouver games. He said he is especially proud to have broken the record in such a difficult sport, and he hopes that his accomplishments show everyone suffering from the affliction of a soul patch that they too can achieve anything.
