Steve Phillips, the former Mets general manager and ESPN baseball analyst who got caught boffing his 22-year-old assistant, is back from sex rehab (the same one Tiger Woods went to!), and he put himself on the Today show this morning to talk about how he wasn’t just a pervy old man who got bored and decided to bang an underling, but has a serious problem, God was testing him, etc. etc., and how he had a “hole he needed to fill.”
