After griping on his Twitter page last night that Sarah Palin’s Real American Stories show planned to reuse an old interview he did for something entirely different without his permission, LL Cool J’s segment has been cut from the series premiere, Fox News says in an unnecessarily catty statement:
“Real American Stories features uplifting tales about overcoming adversity and we believe Mr. Smith’s [also known as LL Cool J, to everyone] interview fit that criteria. However, as it appears that Mr. Smith does not want to be associated with a program that could serve as an inspiration to others, we are cutting his interview from the special and wish him the best with his fledgling acting career.”
Surely, this marks the first rap beef in which one participant was accused of not caring enough about inspiring others.
