President Obama was in Iowa this afternoon where it all began, so to speak to give his first speech since he signed health-care reform legislation into law on Tuesday. You could tell the guy was brimming with new confidence: Not only did he make fun of the fearmongers who warn health-care reform will cause the world to end (“Leaders of the Republican party, they called the passage of this bill … ARMAGEDDON!”), he also dared the Republicans to run this November on a platform of repeal. “My attitude is go for it!” He even took on a heckler who shouted something about, we think, the public option not being included in the bill. Bring it on, everyone! Watch all the best parts in less than two minutes.
