I lived here for six years on an $18,000 a year salary.

What’s the last thing you saw on Broadway?
A View From the Bridge. Just blown away by Liev’s performance. And of course, the writing.

Do you give money to panhandlers?
I do. How can you not?

What’s your drink?
These days I’ve been staying away from the Irish Whiskey and keeping it limited to red wine.

How often do you prepare your own meals?
Always breakfast, never lunch, sometimes dinner. I love eggs, prepared any way, so I’m the man with the pan in the morning in our house.

What’s your favorite medication?

How much is too much to spend on a haircut?
North of $50. But this is New York, so sometimes, you go north.

After The Daily Show.

Which do you prefer, the old Times Square or the new Times

I don’t miss the old but don’t love the new. Fortunately, Times Square was never a big part of my daily routine.

Never had the pleasure.

What do you hate most about living in New York?
The false hope of spring weather in March.

My short game.

When’s the last time you drove a car?
This weekend. Took the kids to the Intrepid. Parking was a fortune. More than my haircut.

How has the Wall Street crash affected you?
It’s nearly impossible to get a small film financed.

With two children, there is no alone anymore.
